Bragging rights in Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ for the next 364 days will be up for grabs Friday night when Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ and Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ State square off in the Rocky Mountain Showdown, one of the oldest college football rivalries in the Rocky Mountain West.

With the second week of school wrapping up and many new and returning Buffs settled in, this weekend would be a good time to explore Boulder and the surrounding areas. Housing and Dining Services offers some tips.

Are you going to the Rocky Mountain Showdown and need a ride? The University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Student Government and Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Athletics have paired up to make free bus rides available to Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder students going to the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ vs CSU game on Friday, Sept. 2. The buses will board in front of the Coors Events Center beginning at 2 p.m.

Interested in learning a foreign language this fall, or, just brushing up? Want to learn in a multi-formated, exciting way with an engaging class size? Check out the number of different options offered through ALTEC this semester right here on campus, and feed your brain! Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ affiliates are eligible for special pricing.

Gain valuable experience working as a paid intern with the Cognitive Development Center and the Children's Museum of Denver. The deadline to apply is Friday Sept. 9.

This Friday, Sept. 2, is the annual Rocky Mountain Showdown at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Our team, our school, and our colors are something we Buffs take great pride in and it is very important for us to represent the Buffs in the best light as we take on the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ State Rams.

The 2016 Rocky Mountain Showdown featuring the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ vs. Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ State University will take place Friday, Sept. 2, at Sports Authority Field at Mile High stadium in Denver. The kickoff for this highly anticipated event is at 6 p.m. and marks the 88th meeting of the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ and CSU teams.

Students enrolled in a new internship program run by the Center for Asian Studies at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder get real-world job experience and cultural immersion in Japan. Look for details on an information session in November. The center is currently identifying employers who will host student interns next summer. The deadline to apply is Feb. 1, 2017.

A new school year comes with new possibilities, and prioritizing, re-shaping thinking patterns and learning how to resource are the first steps toward having a successful and healthy year.
