After 42 years of service to the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder, including stints as professor, department chair, researcher and recently as vice provost and associate vice chancellor for undergraduate education, Michael Grant will retire from the university this spring. One constant through all his years with Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ-Boulder has been his love of teaching and the classroom.

Campus and city police to step up enforcement of city's crosswalk laws

University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder and city of Boulder police will step up enforcement of the city’s traffic laws in and around several of Boulder’s top locations for motor vehicle collisions involving a bicyclist or pedestrian beginning Monday, April 11. As part of the Heads Up Boulder crosswalk safety campaign, officers from the two departments will be at select intersections around the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ campus to give out warnings and issue tickets.

There is such thing as good stress and bad stress. Good stress motivates us to address problems, and do the tasks we need to. Bad stress can become toxic and we can respond by becoming immobilized or trying to escape. That can get in the way of getting things done, especially at this time of year. Michael Kercheval named executive director of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Real Estate Center

David Ikenberry, dean of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder, today announced the appointment of global business leader Michael P. Kercheval as executive director of the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Real Estate Center (Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵREC). The appointment is effective July 1.

Today the Board of Regents of the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ approved a tuition and mandatory fees guarantee for resident students at the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder by a vote of 7-2.

Three Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ-Boulder students win prestigious Goldwater scholarships

Half of this year’s six Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ-based winners of the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship attend the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder. The scholarship is worth up to $7,500 and recognizes sophomores and juniors who have achieved high academic merit in math, science and engineering and who are expected to be leaders in their fields.
