In order to stay connected with the program, and to prepare for a positive and effective summer experience, all Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵUB participants receive a Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵUB Student Handbook when accepted  into the program. This handbook details what is required of all Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵUB program participants, but during the academic year it is important to remember that participants must stay active with the program. That means students must:

  • Meet with their site coordinators two to four times per month
  • Utilize modules. Contact Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵUB staff for login information
  • Attend virtual advising offered weekly, where students log on to Zoom to receive advising based on specific topics to supplement their secondary education or prepare students for college application processes.
  • Attend virtual tutoring offered weekly, where students log on to Zoom to receive help with school assignments from current college students.
  • Attend Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵUB site visits in their area or at their schools during the Fall and Spring semesters
  • Attend community workshops on topics including but not limited to: personal statement writing, financial literacy, preparing for college culture shock and more.
  • Represent the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵUB Program's O.U.R F.I.R.E values all year long to help our program grow and become even stronger.
