The Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ volleyball team earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2021–22 season for the third time in the program's 30-year history, successfully maintaining above a 3.30 GPA for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters.
Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder alumnus Cliff Branch will be the first Buff in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Branch, who died in 2019, played two years for the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ football team before a 14-year career in the NFL. He will be commemorated in Canton, Ohio.
The University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ women’s tennis team was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Women’s All-Academic Team, along with four individuals.
A total of 64 Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Buffaloes were named to the Pac-12 Conference's 2022 Spring Academic Honor Roll. Recipients were from men's and women's outdoor track and field, women's lacrosse, men's and women's golf and women's tennis.
The Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ women’s basketball team will embark on a foreign tour of Spain to mark the start of the 2022–23 season. The Buffaloes’ fall trip will be a 10-day exploration from Aug. 6 to 16.

The Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ football team is hosting a blood stem cell donor registry drive with Be the Match on Wednesday, April 27, from 2 to 6 p.m. in Balch Fieldhouse. It only takes a few minutes to sign up and provide a cheek swab.
