The SLHS Department at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ BoulderÌýoffers programs of study in speech, language, and hearing sciences. This includes clinical education in speech-language pathology (M.A.-SLP) and audiology (Au.D.).ÌýAdditionally, the department offers a master in artsÌý(M.A.)Ìýin research and doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) inÌýspeech, language, and hearing sciences.ÌýThe Ph.D. includesÌýopportunities related to neuroscience and cognitive science. As professionals and behavioral scientists, students study the receptive and productive aspects of normal and pathological communication. Our clinical education programs in speech-language pathology and audiology lead to professional credentials including the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ State Licensure, and Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Department of Education licensure to work in the public schools.ÌýStudents have access to a wide range of clinical education opportunities in schools, hospitals, and clinics throughout the metro Boulder and Denver area.
