The Analysis Workstation has multiple software packages available, such as Imaris, Matlab, ImageJ, ICY, Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵDA, CellProfiler, RapidSTORM, and Nikon Elements. To process the data, the computer is equipped with a GeForce GTX 690 graphics card for Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵDA enabled GPU parallel processing, Intel 520 Series Solid State Drives for Fast Read/Write operations, Seagate 7200 RPM Hard-Drives for Storage, Intel Quad Core i7, 32 GB of Kingston 2400 MHz DDR3 RAM, and an Asus Z87 Deluxe Motherboard.Ìý
The Nikon A1R Laser Scanning Confocal and TIRF is a powerful and greatly used microscope. It is capable of imaging up to 4 fluorophores simultaneously. While ideally used for fixed samples, live-cell imaging is possible on the if the environmental chamber is used. Combined with advanced 3D reconstruction software (i.e. ), the Nikon A1R allows for the high-resolution multidimensional visualization of almost any sample.
The objective-based Total Internal Reflectance Fluorescence (TIRF) attachment can be used in widefield mode.
The Nikon N-STORM is a super resolution microscope capable of achieving 20nm resolution in x and y. Equipped with two Andor 897 Ultra EMCCDs, this system can be used for dual color STORM. ÌýUsing the astigmatism add-on or the Double Helix module enables 3D super resolution imaging. ÌýThe microscope utilizes four laser lines: 405, 488, 561, and 647nm, as well as a white light LED light source.
The Nikon Spinning Disc Confocal has seven laser lines (405, 445, 488, 515, 561, 594, 640nm) and two Andor 888 Ultra EMCCDs (13um pixels) allowing for rapid two color 3D imaging of living samples, including CFP/YFP and GFP/RFP FRET. ÌýThe microscope is fully enclosed in an Oko Labs environmental chamber enabling temperature, CO2, and humidity control.
The Molecular Devices ImageXpress is a fully enclosed widefield microscope that is ideal for long-term imaging of multiwell plates with full environmental control. The system is equipped with 4 objectives and can house up to five different filter cubes which allows significant imaging versatility.
The Olympus IX-81 is a widefield microscope equipped with 6 objectives and 3 filter cubes (Dapi, FITCS, TRITC). This system is simple to use and your samples can be quickly imaged. It is equipped with an ORCA-ER high resolution digital camera. The motorized stage allows for the automated scanning of your sample slides. The microscope is housed in an environmental chamber allowing temperature, CO2, and humidity control.
