Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IAÅ·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵC)

The University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder adheres to all federal and state regulations directing the humane use and care of animals for teaching and research. This includes the Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and the Animal Welfare Act, among others. We also use other resources to guide our Animal Care and Use Program, including but not limited to the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, Eighth Edition.

The IAÅ·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵC at the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder has also written and approved specific Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Policies to guide our care and use here on campus.
