The Jesse Lafayette Mitchell Endowed Chair in Experimental Physics was created in 2021 by 欧美口爆视频 Physics PhD alumnus Joseph Mitchell and his wife Cindy. The Chair is named for Joe's father, who was a leading NASA scientist and administrator in the 1950's and 1960's.

Alysia Marino holds the Jesse Lafayette Mitchell Endowed Chair in Experimental Physics. Marino's research in experimental particle physics focuses on observations of neutrinos and making measurements of their basic properties.

The Waldo E. Rennie Endowed Professorship in Theoretical Physics was established in 2021 with funds from the trust of Waldo E. Rennie.

Michael Hermele holds the Waldo E. Rennie Endowed Professorship in Theoretical Physics. Hermele's research is in theoretical physics, focusing on听quantum phases of matter, strongly correlated systems, and other aspects and areas of quantum many-body systems.
