March 10 - May 19: Julia Wild

Julia Wild is known for blending abstract forms, geometric patterns, and vibrant landscapes to create dreamy acrylic paintings inspired by the perfect structure and organic flow found within nature.
Julia's creative process mirrors this idea of balance that exists in life. She starts by playfully splashing the first layers of paint with no plan, wildly releasing energy through unpredictable brushstrokes, letting the colors and movement take on a life of their own. As the piece evolves, she refines it with more intentional choices and smaller brushes, uncovering the story hidden within the layers. Each painting becomes a journey of healing, self-discovery, and beauty, both for her and the viewer. The depth in her work can be felt and seen through rich layers of colorful gradients, organized patterns, and 3-dimensional orbs, symbolizing the interconnection of everything.
Julia's first inspiration was her mother, a professional artist that introduced her to painting at the early age of 2. She was greatly influenced by her and they shared a deep love for nature together. When Julia lost her mom unexpectedly on her last day of high school, she realized how precious and short life is and decided to commit to art seriously. Though she initially felt pressure to take a traditional path, double majoring in studio art and marketing, she ultimately chose to carve her own path. With perfect grades, she dropped out of college to travel and learn directly from the artists she admired. Julia made the big move from Illinois to Denver to follow her dreams of being an artist, which quickly took her on the journey of a lifetime.
With her strong presence in the Denver art scene, as well as on social media, she has successfully sold her original artwork and prints at in-person events, art galleries, and online. Her art has taken her on trips around the world, introduced her to her best friends, landed her mural gigs, and fully supported her since 2020. Some of her biggest inspirations have even become her collaborators and friends, including Morgan Mandala, Seth McMahon, and Glass Crane. She hopes that her story can inspire others to create the life they deserve, no matter what struggles they've been through. Julia believes that nature, art, and community are always there to heal, support, and guide us through life.Â
