The University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law School will celebrate six alumni and friends of the law school at its 39th annual awards banquet on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.

We spoke to four alumni making their mark in entrepreneurial and business law.

Recent Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law graduate Zachary New ('19) is one of two winners of the Yale Law Journal's annual student essay competition, focused this year on emerging issues in immigration law.

A Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder delegation comprising University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law School Dean S. James Anaya, Associate Professor Brad Bernthal ('01), Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Global Ambassador Alan Heath ('68), and representatives from the Chancellor’s Office and schools of education and business, headed to Mexico City June 3-8 to explore opportunities for collaboration in academic programs, student exchanges, internships, executive and continuing education, and constituent engagement.

Marissa Kardon Weber's ('19) passion for conflict resolution and international human rights initiatives helped her secure a highly competitive postgraduate position with the International Criminal Court’s Prosecution Division in The Hague, Netherlands, which she begins in August.
