On Sept. 13 and 14, 2017, the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law School and the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues hosted a dynamic event to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. During this two-day event, participants looked back at the advocacy that resulted in the passage of the Declaration, discussed its present-day usage, and looked forward to implementation and the future.
