Water Engineering & Management Program

The goal of the professional master's program or graduate certificate in Water Engineering & Management (WEM) is to provide working engineers with the skills they need to lead a team, initiative or division in the water profession. Especially relevant for those working for consulting engineers, utilities, government or regulatory agencies, the program combines technical course with courses that address leadership, communication, financials, governance and water management.  

The program curriculum is developed and taught by world-class faculty and senior professionals from:

Certificate Credits

Nine credit hours are required to complete the graduate certificate: 

  • CVEN 5564: Water Profession: Leadership and Communication
  • CVEN 5574: Water Utility Management: Current Issues and Future Challenges
  • CVEN 5584: Water Profession: Financials and Management
