Join us for a conference that transcends historical boundaries. Our wish is to bridge disciplines, weaving a tapestry of understanding that transcends the frontiers of our disciplines. We wish to explore the intersections of crisis, dialogue, dispute, and representation, fostering interdisciplinary conversations, since these are questions connected beyond the historical field. Papers that address these themes might include political, socioeconomic, or cultural questions, transnational, comparative, or global histories, art, music, or other cultural mediums.
We welcome submissions with a historical element from graduate students working in any discipline. Exceptional undergraduate papers will be considered. Past participants have come from fields as diverse as history, political science, economics, cultural studies, philosophy, comparative literature, sociology, film, art history, religious studies, anthropology, women鈥檚 and gender studies, geography, ethnic studies, and theater.

PRESENTATION DETAILS
Every paper will receive commentary by another graduate student, and a faculty member will moderate each panel session. Presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
Please note: While RMIHC 2024 is primarily intended to be an in-person conference, certain accommodations can be made for extenuating circumstances (e.g. emergencies, disability). Please email the executive committee at the address provided above if you have any concerns or questions. We will do our best to help.
听
PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS
Presentations will be strictly limited to 15 minutes; thus, papers should be 8 pages in length, not including endnotes and bibliography.
