Dr. Reiland Rabaka is a professor and renown scholar of African, African American, and Caribbean Studies at the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder and the Founder and Director of the Center for African and African American Studies/The CAAAS. He has authored 18 books, including his latest work, The Funk Movement: Music, Culture, and Politics. A prolific scholar and social justice advocate, Dr. Rabaka's work delves into the cultural and political dimensions of music, focusing on how art can be a catalyst for societal transformation.
