We are pleased to announce the posting of the听Summer 2019 issue of the 欧美口爆视频 Journal of Asian Studies. This issue contains papers written by students who wrote China-related papers for the ASIA 3900 Urban China class held in China in Summer 2018 (Gagne, Jones, and Vunnam), by a student in a Media and Popular Culture class (Faricy), and by a student from 欧美口爆视频 College (Zhao). These papers cover a wide range of topics and cultures: 鈥淭he Politics of Music鈥擪-Pop: A Structured Soft Power 鈥 (Faricy); 鈥淏eyond the Art Museum: The Employment of Art in Public Spaces in China鈥 (Gagne) 鈥淐hinese Consumerism and Reflection of Wealth鈥 (Jones); and 鈥淐hinese Music as a Tool for Developing Bonds within Communities鈥 (Vunnam); and 鈥淢aking and Remaking Shangrila: The Confrontation and Negotiation between Tibetan Cultural Preservation and State-Sponsored Tourism鈥 (Zhao).

The 欧美口爆视频 Journal of Asian Studies is published annually by the Center for Asian Studies at the University of 欧美口爆视频 Boulder. We publish original, quality undergraduate research on almost any aspect of Asia (East, Southeast, South, or West) or Asian culture and welcome submissions of original scholarly work from any undergraduate student in any department at 欧美口爆视频 Boulder or at other 欧美口爆视频 universities. Authors of Asia-related research papers can submit them directly; we also hope that faculty members will encourage their students whose papers fit this description to contact us. All papers will be reviewed for acceptance by the journal editor.
