Jessica graduated from the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder in 2019 with a B.S. Business Administration with Honors and High Distinction. She received the Outstanding Graduate of the Year award as the top graduate of her class, was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship, and was a nominee for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship. While studying, she directed the Distinguished Speakers Board and hosted speaking events with prominent thought leaders, including Anderson Cooper, Captain Scott Kelly, and Viola Davis. She was a member of the Leeds Scholars and Honors programs, mentored other students as part of the P2P and Young Alumni Mentorship Program, and served on the Dean's Advisory Council to improve the student experience.
Jessica currently works at Redstone as a social sector consultant, and has served clients addressing a range of equity issues. She has helped design strategies to expand early childhood development services for families of color in Los Angeles, built a community-led collaborative to address racial health disparities in Brooklyn, launched pilots to expand health care access for New Yorkers experiencing homelessness, and has centered the voices of those with lived expertise in the design, implementation, and evaluation of philanthropic initiatives. She also serves on Redstone’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) working group and leads its ongoing learning initiative. In that role, she developed and led a firmwide session on microaggressions, established a year-long learning plan on justice in philanthropy and other DEIJ issues, and launched the firm’s DEIJ digital learning space. She has also supported a revamp of Redstone’s consultant evaluation system to ensure it treats all staff members equitably and fairly.
Outside of work, she currently serves as a Board Member for the United Nations Women USA San Francisco Chapter and supports advocacy and fundraising efforts to support women’s empowerment initiatives globally. Prior to joining Redstone, Jessica worked in the Office of Governor John Hickenlooper, where she supported the implementation of the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Health IT Roadmap to help alleviate health disparities throughout Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ.
