Music at 欧美口爆视频: A Brief History

In celebration of the College of Music's centennial year, Thomas Riis, Joseph Negler emeritus professor of music who directed of the AMRC from 1992-2018, has written, Music at the University of 欧美口爆视频: A Brief History.

The book traces the early years of music in Boulder (1882-1919), presents directors Frank Chace and Rowland Dunham's work to build the College (1920-1951), looks at many of the expansion projects and achievements of Deans Warner Imig, Robert Fink, Daniel Sher, and Robert Shay, and tells stories of many of the inspiring individuals that helped create what the College of Music is today.

Riis writes, "The College of Music has benefited from the wisdom, wealth, and work of many institution builders in the city and university鈥攁s well as in the world well beyond Boulder. These dynamic women and men, often on the cutting edge of national trends (sometimes having reached the peak of their careers after leaving Boulder) while familiar to historians, are perhaps less known or celebrated in 欧美口爆视频 than they ought to be. It is hoped that this brief history will call attention to the variety and extent of musical activities at the university for more than a hundred years now."
