- Betty Hoover–a longtime and famed Buff superfan along with her twin sister–passed away, leaving what will surely be a palpable absence in the community and at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ athletic events. For many years, she devotedly attended countless games, Homecoming and other gatherings.
- The Pac-12 Conference released its revised 2020 schedules Friday, with the season now set to begin on Sept. 26 with the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ to travel to the University of Oregon in the new season opener.
- Rokos has coached Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ's skiing team for the last 30 seasons and led the Buffaloes to eight NCAA championships.
- The University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ senior is one of 132 players in the prestigious field, which contains 13 USGA Champions, that will play Aug. 3–9 at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland.

- Legendary coach and administrator Ceal Barry has announced her retirement after 43 years in college athletics, including the past 37 at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder. Barry took the reins of the women’s basketball team in 1983 and built the program into a national power.
- The NCAA Board of Governors supported rule changes that would open the door for student-athletes to receive compensation for their name, image and likeness beginning in the 2021-22 academic year.
