Canceled concrete canoe competition doesn’t dampen students’ enthusiasm

This year, 15 ŷڱƵ Boulder civil and architectural engineering students spent more than 60 hours constructing a concrete canoe. Despite the open water races being canceled due to cold temperatures, ŷڱƵ Boulder students did well in other ASCE competitions, taking second place in both the non-technical paper and innovation challenge and third place in both the technical paper and surveying competitions.
