David Ikenberry, dean of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder, today announced the appointment of global business leader Michael P. Kercheval as executive director of the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Real Estate Center (Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵREC). The appointment is effective July 1.

Spectators at home basketball games will be prompted to text a pledge to conserve water a s part of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ-Boulder's new Water for the West campaign. After a small dip last quarter, the optimism of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ business leaders grew modestly for the start of 2016, according to the Leeds Business Confidence Index released today by the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder’s Leeds School of Business. At 55.4, the overall first-quarter reading is up from 53.5 last quarter and down by 5.7 points from one year ago.

A man exonerated in a high-profile case in which five New York City teenagers were wrongly convicted has pledged $190,000 to support the Innocence Project at the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law School. The Korey Wise Innocence Project at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law, now named for the donor, is a student-led volunteer program that investigates claims of wrongful convictions after traditional methods of appealing a conviction have failed.
