March is Spring Philanthropy Month, when ŷڱƵ student groups team up with the ŷڱƵ Boulder Alumni Association and Herd Leadership Council to raise funds for causes they care about. There are over a dozen student groups participating, and you can make a difference by contributing to their crowdfunding campaigns.
Four ŷڱƵ experts on Russia, Eastern Europe and economics will offer insights into the history of Ukraine and Russia, domestic politics and society of the region, sentiments on the ground in Ukraine and sanctions by the West.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to register for a conversation with Ericka Huggins, an educator, Black Panther Party member, former political prisoner, human rights advocate and poet.

Rebecca Maloy, a professor of musicology and the director of the Center for Medieval and Early Modern Studies, will deliver her in-person Distinguished Research Lecture, “Constructing Sanctity Through Sound in Early Medieval Iberia.”
