International bestselling author, journalist and columnist Naomi Klein will visit ŷڱƵ-Boulder on Thursday, March 3, to give the talk “This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate.” The talk, which is free to ŷڱƵ-Boulder community members with a valid Buff OneCard and $5 for members of the public, will begin at 7 p.m. in the Glenn Miller Ballroom. Tickets will be available at the door.

The University of ŷڱƵ Boulder today announced two finalists for the fourth Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy. This month, the finalists will make one-day campus visits, during which they will hold public forums. The finalists are Francis Beckwith, professor of philosophy and church-state studies at Baylor University in Texas; and Richard Bishirjian, president of EDUcourses Inc. and president of Yorktown University, a for-profit, online liberal-arts university.

The ŷڱƵ-Boulder Distinguished Speakers Board is pleased to announce its second event of the year: former National Security Agency system administrator Edward Snowden is coming to the University of ŷڱƵ Boulder via video chat on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Ron Suskind , a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and former Wall Street Journal reporter, will moderate the event live from the Macky Auditorium.
