Join Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ’s signature holiday season kickoff event. Listen to holiday caroling and special musical performances, participate in a scavenger hunt, tour the brilliantly lit animal sculptures, snack at the s’mores cart and more.

All first-generation students, faculty and staff at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder are invited to a National First-Generation College Celebration Day event, featuring guest speakers Bert and Det, from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 8.

A mix of in-person and virtual events will include sessions on study abroad, West Africa, Asian studies, the U.S. job market and health insurance. There will be a luncheon for graduate students and post-doctoral students, a game night and more.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to provide input on what they would like to see in Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ’s next president and the search process, as part of an upcoming Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Board of Regents forum. Join in person or via livestream.

The Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder School of Education is hosting a special Homecoming open house. Attendees will have opportunities to tour the remodeled new home of the school, learn about next phases for renovations and reconnect with friends and colleagues.

ATLAS Institute's T9Hacks has partnered with STEMblazers to host Au{t9}umn Hacks, designed to promote interest in creative technologies, coding, design and making in high school students who identify as female, non-binary or from other groups underrepresented at mainstream hackathons.

Homecoming festivities culminate next weekend in Boulder, Nov. 4–6. Connect with the memories, people and places that make Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder special––at one, several or all of the events.

Let’s continue to make a difference and save lives by donating blood. Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder Staff Council will once again be partnering with Vitalant for the November blood drive––open to students, faculty and staff.

The College of Media, Communication and Information will feature the new Center for African and African American Studies in a conversation between the center's founding director Reiland Rabaka and Associate Professor Nabil Echchaibi.

Lab Venture Challenge, which will take place virtually Nov. 3–4, funds the university's top innovations that address a commercial need, have a clear path to a compelling market and enjoy strong scientific support.
