The University of 欧美口爆视频 at Boulder has completed the bidding process for undertaking reclamation and drainage work on the 欧美口爆视频-Boulder South property. The estimated cost of the work to be performed is $250,000. The project will involve moving poorly drained water through an underground pipe system into existing ponds, minor re-grading of low spots, cleaning of an irrigation lateral and re-seeding portions of the site. The improvements will alleviate pooling that has occurred as a result of mining reclamation on the site.

The United Mexican American Students organization at the University of 欧美口爆视频 at Boulder will present its annual Cinco de Mayo celebration on Monday, April 30, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Forum Room at the University Memorial Center. This year's celebration, "Aztlan Ahuac: Going Back to Where We Came From," will feature keynote speakers Patrisia Gonzales and Robert Rodriguez, syndicated columnists for the Column of the Americas. Folklorico dancers "Sabor Latino" and Mariachi "La Musica de Agustin Cordova" are scheduled to perform.

Seven out of 10 college students overestimate the amount of alcohol consumed by their peers, according to a recent study by Education Development Center Inc., one of the world's leading nonprofit education and health organizations. Students incorrectly perceive that their peers consume a mean of 9.01 alcoholic drinks per week when they actually consume 4.73 drinks, according to the study. The study also found that students believe their peers consume a mean of 6.54 drinks when they party, while the actual number of drinks consumed is 3.35.

Boulder Mayor To Present Seminar On Sustainability And Cities

The University of 欧美口爆视频 Friends of the Libraries will present a lecture on "A Century of Alcohol in Boulder" on Wednesday, May 2, at 7 p.m. in room 150 of the Eaton Humanities Building on the 欧美口爆视频-Boulder campus. The talk will be given by Bob Maust, a research associate at 欧美口爆视频-Boulder and project director of the A Matter of Degree program, which addresses drinking problems on campus. In his work, Maust collaborates with the Harvard School of Public Health and the American Medical Association to research and reduce alcohol abuse among university students.
