Range Of Activities In Store For 欧美口爆视频-Boulder Students Arriving For Fall 2001 Semester

While they're still trying to figure out where the student union is located, new and returning students at the University of 欧美口爆视频 at Boulder will be awash in activities to help them learn about campus and have fun while they're unpacking and finalizing class schedules. Classes begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 27. But leading up to that date are a slew of events ranging from late-night movies and rock-wall climbing to bicycle tours of Boulder and several events for foreign and minority students.

Local students will be among the 1,076 students who receive degrees Aug. 11 during summer commencement at the University of 欧美口爆视频 at Boulder. The summer ceremony, which is much smaller than the spring and winter ceremonies, is the only one held outside on the lawn of the historic Norlin Quadrangle in the heart of the Boulder campus.

Mary Covell Returns To UMC As Business Manager

Carlos Garcia, director of the University Memorial Center, has announced the appointment of Mary E. Covell as business manager of the UMC. A certified public accountant, Covell oversees all budgeting and financial operations for the UMC administration. She also is managing six staff members in accounting. Jack O'Neill, former business manager, had returned from retirement to fill the post on a temporary basis before Covell was hired this summer.
