Josh Edelmann finished his six years of service with the U.S. Air Force and enrolled as an undergraduate student at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder last fall. He wanted to find a sense of camaraderie with his peers at the university that felt similar to what he experienced during his years in the military.

The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has elected Distinguished Professor Daniel J. Scheeres, a Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder aerospace engineer who has an asteroid named after him, and Adjunct Professor Philippe Spalart, a Boeing Technical Fellow, to its 2017 class. Election to the NAE is among the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer.
