My message to the community.

Josh Edelmann finished his six years of service with the U.S. Air Force and enrolled as an undergraduate student at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder last fall. He wanted to find a sense of camaraderie with his peers at the university that felt similar to what he experienced during his years in the military.

The city of Boulder has opened a web version of the 2017 Community Perception Survey to ask residents and other community members about their perception and experience of Boulder as a safe and welcoming community for all.

The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has elected Distinguished Professor Daniel J. Scheeres, a Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder aerospace engineer who has an asteroid named after him, and Adjunct Professor Philippe Spalart, a Boeing Technical Fellow, to its 2017 class. Election to the NAE is among the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer.

The Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Collegiate Recovery Center (Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵCRC) recently hosted over 185 college students in recovery at the first-ever national Association of Recovery in Higher Education (ARHE) Skiathon to connect with each other and enjoy an epic adventure in the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Rockies.

On Feb. 14, Human Resources will offer a workshop focused on the Real Colors Personality Test, designed to help people recognize, accept, learn to value and understand human behaviors to improve empathy and communication in the workplace.

For many of us, clean water is so plentiful and readily available that we rarely, if ever, pause to consider what life would be like without it. Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder Environmental Health and Safety is tasked by state and federal agencies with ensuring everyone on campus does their part to keep our water systems free of pollutants.
