Hey, Buffs! September is wrapping up, so don’t forget to take advantage of all the fun events campus has to offer.

This week brings a virtual cook-along, “No Hard Feelings” with free popcorn, the State of the Campus address, succulent planting, Barcelona study abroad info, a pasta bar, a Pink Floyd laser show, a football pregame and more.

On the first and fourth Monday of each month, the Center for Inclusion and Social Change hosts Bring Your Own Gender (BYOG). The group supports transgender, nonbinary, gender-questioning and gender-creative students.

Hazing is a harmful practiceunfortunately experienced at many universities. Stop by to learn how to recognize signs of hazing and what to do about it.

Make your money go further with budgeting and saving techniques. During this presentation, The city of Boulder and Elevations Credit Union will teach students how to create a budget that aligns with their income.


Wednesday, Sept. 27

Plants can make a room feel like a home. Attend this week’s Wellness Wednesday session for succulent planting and information about on-campus resources.

Have you ever considered studying abroad? Barcelona, Spain, is considered a trendy hub forculture, fashion and food. This session will give students more information on this amazing opportunity.

Get involved with CMCI: Thisinvolvement fair showcases all of the student media organizations and other groups the college has to offer.

5–6 p.m. Virtual
Work on your cooking skills this week with a free, virtual cook-along! Using ingredients from the Buff Pantry, students will learn how to make a simple meal. This time, vegan refried bean tostadas are on the menu. There will also be an immersion blender giveaway. ​

6:30–7:30 p.m.Rec Center, meet in Fit Well Suite
This event, held inpartnership with Disability Services, will teach you how to incorporate adaptive training into your cardio, strength and stretching routines.Participants will have the opportunity to work with staff and receive personalized guidance.

8–10 p.m.Kitt Central multipurpose rooms
Spend your evening painting with fellow Buffs. All levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced artists. All art supplies will be provided.

During this volunteer session, help outGreenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center prepare for the busy season. Volunteers will clean animal condos, set up enrichment, and complete other yard work.

“No Hard Feelings'”is a 2023 film starring Jennifer Lawrence. During the film, Lawrences’s character gets hired to help bring a 19-year-old boy out of his shell.
