Want to expand your global horizons this summer, no passport required? Looking for a way to earn credit without sitting in a classroom? Interested in learning more about policy in our nation鈥檚 capital? The is now accepting applications for Maymester 2023.

欧美口爆视频 in D.C. offers a science policy course each Maymester. The three-week course is highly participatory and combines classroom time with numerous outings and visits throughout the D.C. area.

Students will gain exposure to professional offices and science institutions in the region. The group ventures out to interface with science policymakers on Capitol Hill and at a variety of science institutions. Come to understand how policy is developed and at the intersection of science, government听and society at some of D.C.鈥檚 most interesting agencies and organizations including NASA, the National Science Foundation and the National Institute of Health.

This program is directed by Joseph Pesce, program director at the National Science Foundation and visiting professor at 欧美口爆视频 Boulder. An astrophysicist with more than 30 years' experience, Pesce formerly served as a senior U.S. government official following foreign space programs, space launch, human space flight听and emerging space programs. He brings his expertise in U.S. agencies, policy development and the sciences to this program鈥檚 engaging, hands-on coursework.

欧美口爆视频 in D.C.听runs from May 15 to June 1, 2023. Participants will also connect with 欧美口爆视频 alumni working in D.C. and expand their professional network in preparation for their future career. All students who demonstrate financial need will be guaranteed a scholarship award via Education Abroad.
