Campus Culture Survey dashboard updates increase search functionality
The Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder Office of Data Analytics has updated the 2021 Campus Culture Survey unit-level dashboard to increase the functionality of the survey results by campus unit.
With these updates, ODA said dashboard users can filter survey results by a specific school, college, academic program or department, but there are now also 34 compare-by options similar to those in the campuswide dashboard.
Disaggregated results are available by unit, provided there are at least 10 responses for each of the groups in the comparison.

Higher ed experts, Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ leaders to convene at Equity Day of Dialogue
Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder ethnic studies professor Reiland Rabaka, founding director of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder’s Center for African and African American Studies, will give the keynote address at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ’s second annual Equity Day of Dialogue and Symposium next month.
Sponsored by the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Department of Higher Education (CDHE), the symposium will take place Aug. 4 on the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver. According to the CDHE, the symposium will address the future of equity in higher education and how universities and institutions can serve students better.
Featured speakers and panelists include Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Gov. Jared Polis and Angie Paccione, executive director of the CDHE.
Other participants include Sonia DeLuca Fernández, senior vice chancellor for diversity, equity and inclusion at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder; Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Denver Chancellor Michelle Marks; Metropolitan State University of Denver President Janine Davidson; Community College of Denver President Marielena Desanctis; and Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Poet Laureate .
Sustaining our practice of inclusion
Campus efforts and investments to address pressing and painful inequities at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder are only a beginning. Creating a culture of belonging will take each member of our community practicing sustained personal work to truly embrace and support diverse perspectives and identities in our community.
This year, Chancellor Philip DiStefano and other campus leaders urge every member of our community to join in learning more about diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism and to work continuously together to address these challenges more actively and in ways that can help authentically transform our campus culture in the coming year.

- Center for Teaching and Learning: Offers programs focused on creating inclusive classrooms and supports Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ’s community of educators through free consultations, teaching resources, programs, seminars, workshops and other events.
- Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder History Project: Seeks to share Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder’s history based on intersectional perspectives to demonstrate our commitment to inclusive excellence and to deepen our institutional memory.
- Latin American Studies Center: Provides an institutional space for research, teaching and discussion on Latin America and Latinx/Latina/Latino studies.
- Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement: Supports programming, events and campuswide initiatives for students, faculty and staff that promote diversity, equity and inclusion. Subscribe to the office’s newsletter to learn more.
- Research and Innovation Office (RIO): Offers resources focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion in research and innovation.
