Chancellor Phil DiStefano has announcedŷڱƵ Boulder has just completed an important phase in its accreditation process and is now moving to implement improvements that theHigher Learning Commission (HLC) recommended.

The HLC is one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. Accreditation requires a comprehensive evaluation of the university’s programs, policies and practices and culminates in a visit by trained peer evaluators every 10 years. In December 2019, an HLC team of evaluators visited ŷڱƵ Boulder to review the university as a whole and provide recommendations for continued improvement. You are encouraged to read the team’s report from that visit.

The campus’s assurance argument, HLC final team report, ŷڱƵ Boulder’s institutional response to that report and the HLC action letter are all available for campus review on the accreditation website.
