Program Council is thrilled to offer two more advancescreenings before the end of the school year. The prescreening of the movie Booksmart will take place on Friday, April 26,and Good Boys will be on Tuesday, April 30.

Both will held be in the cozy Cristol Chemistry and Biochemistry building, room number 140. Tickets are available in the Program Council officelocated in ŷڱƵ’s University Memorial Center, office number 401. All tickets are free, and the limit is two.

Booksmart: April 26

Booksmart is a typical high school moviebut with a twist.

“On the eve of their graduation, two overachieving high school seniors realize that they should have worked less and played more. Determined not to fall short of their peers, the girls try to cram four years of fun into one night.”

The comedy earned a100% on rotten tomatoesand stars Kaitlyn Dever and Billie Catherine Lourd.Dever is known for her ongoing role in Last Man Standing, and Catherine Lourd is known for her role in Scream Queensbut also being the only child of actress Carrie Fisher and Bryan Lourd.

Good Boys: April 30

ҴǴǻDzis the hilarious sixth grade comedy from the creative minds behind Superbad, Pineapple Expressand Sausage Party.

“Just how bad can one day get? After being invited to his first kissing party, 12-year-old Max is panicking because he doesn’t know how to kiss. Eager for some pointers, Max and his best friends Thor and Lucas decide to use Max’s dad’s drone—which Max is forbidden to touch—to spy on a teenage couple making out next door. But when things go ridiculously wrong, the drone is destroyed. Desperate to replace it before Max’s dad gets home, the boys skip school and set off on an odyssey of epically bad decisions involving some accidentally stolen drugs, frat-house paintball, and running from both the cops and terrifying teenage girls.”

Additionally, Program Council’s Director of Marketing Ashton Carr has won student employee of the month. Carr’s dedication has been a driving force in Program Council’s success this year. In his third year withProgram Council, the team is sad to see him go this spring, as he graduates.
