In 2013, the Leeds School of Business launched a 12-credit business minor so that all Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder students could gain business fundamentals, increasing their immediate impact as new hires. The business minor is now the largest minor on campus, attracting students from over 60 majors across the university.Ìý

This program is uniquely designed for non-business students so they can effectively perform in a global business environment.Ìý

Through two foundation courses, students are introduced to the essential elements of marketing, management, accounting and finance. Students then choose between one of five business track options: innovation, analytics, entrepreneurship, global business or real estate. While not required, students may complete multiple tracks for increased breadth of business acumen.

Finally, students complete their minor with a capstone course that focuses on business development. Following the capstone, students participate in a business competition followed by a celebratory graduation where competition winners are recognized by Leeds and the local business community, and the top three teams win cash prizes.

The program takes a minimum of three semesters to complete. ItÌýis recommended you apply before your junior yearÌýbut no later than the first semester of your junior year.
