With the end of the semester in sight and many beginning to plan for the approaching holidays, I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to each of you for your work and dedication to the university over the past year. I am proud to say that because of your commitment and hard work, Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder is able to transform lives, rise to new challenges and shape tomorrow’s leaders. We shine because of each of you, and your contributions continue to differentiate this campus as an outstanding place to learn, teach and work.
I am pleased to announce that Governor Hickenlooper has issued an additional holiday for state employees. The additional holiday for the Boulder campus will be on Monday, Dec. 31. Tuesday, Jan. 1, is already a campus holiday.
All employees will receive eight hours of holiday pay to be used on Dec. 31, prorated for part time. Employees designated asÌýessential services personnelÌý(who are required to work) may choose an alternative day for this holiday. If you are designated asÌýessential services personnel, please make sure you coordinate with, and receive the approval of, your supervisor in rescheduling your alternate holiday. Questions should be directed to the Department of Human Resources (x2-6475).
Thank you again for all that you do to make Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder excellent.
