Part of the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law Talks series in Denver,ÌýUniversity of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law SchoolÌýAssociate Professor Anna Spain Bradley on Sept. 12 will discuss recent challenges and threats to human rights in America and around the world.

Her talk will focus on the historical connection between America's civil rights movement and the promotion of human rights under international law, shared common challengesÌýand a future vision that deepens the relationships among communities across borders.

Spain Bradley recently , given to five educators across th e country. She specializes in public international law, international dispute resolution, international human rights, peace and security, and law and neuroscience.

Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law Talks is a series of lectures in Denver that provide members of the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law community an opportunity to hear about the lecturers’ current research or teachingÌýand to discuss the questions and ideas that motivate, influenceÌýand shape their work. The talk is followed by a reception.Ìý

This event is free for all Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Law students, facultyÌýand staff; recent (2013–18) graduates;Ìýand Law Alumni Ambassadors. Tickets areÌý$10 for all other alumni and $20 for other guests. Proceeds from this talk will benefit the Program for the Advanced Study of International Human Rights.
