A new study suggests that damaging weather events, more common to the Pacific Northwest, will happen more frequently in Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ in the coming years. The study by Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder and the National Center for Atmospheric Research found that due to climate change, flooding caused by rain falling on snowpack could more than double by the end of this century in areas of the western U.S., including Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ’s high country, says Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder researcher and lead author Keith Musselman.
