A lighthearted homage to ŷڱƵ Shakespeare Festival’s academic settings on the ŷڱƵ Boulder campus,Love’s Labour’s Lostfollows four young men who make a pact to concentrate only on learning and swear off love—just as the four loves of their lives wander by. CSF sets this Shakespearean comedy at the turn of the 20th century.
“Love’s Labour’s Lostis the original rom-com,” said Orr. “We haven’t seen it on our stage in 10 years and we can’t wait to revisit it. As with any Shakespeare play, it’ll be interesting to hear what this play has to say to us now.”
Performances are set for Friday, Aug. 3; Saturday, Aug. 4; Wednesday, Aug. 8; and Sunday, Aug. 12.
