Amy Javernick-Will, associate director for graduate education and research at the Mortenson Center, received the 2018 Daniel W. Halpin Award for scholarship in construction.

This prestigious award is given by the ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers)for outstanding scholarship in disaster recovery and for enhancing the global quality of life through socially sustainable infrastructure. The award celebrates her contributions to advancing construction engineering through scholarship, mentoring and a commitment to diversity.

She accepted the award in April and gave a presentation during the Construction Research Congress in New Orleans.
