The Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Restorative JusticeÌýprogram is in full swing.
Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Restorative Justice (Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵRJ) is looking for students, staff, faculty and Boulder residents to volunteer as community representatives in Restorative Justice conferences. Through this flexible volunteer commitment, community representatives share their perspectives on the community impact of student offenses.
After receiving a one-hour training, community representatives participate in Restorative Justice conferences to address the student's offense, offering their thoughts on the impact of the offense and what the student can do to repair the impact to the greatest extent possible.
The program serves about 500 student offenders each year, working to repair the community impact of student misconduct for a variety of offenses and situations. Reach out to curj@colorado.edu if you are interested in getting involved!
