Summer 2018 Calendar

Maymester: May 14 – June 1

Session A: June 4 – July 6

Session B: July 10 – August 10

Session C: June 4 – July 27

Session D: June 4 – August 10

Augmester: August 6 – August 23

Each summer, just under 8,000 university students (undergraduate and graduate) use Summer Session to:

• Maintain or advance their degree progress
• Focus on a difficult or prerequisite course
• Work toward a second major or minor
• Allow time for an internship or study abroad experience during the fall or spring semesters

While registration for summer 2018 will not begin until March 7, 2018, it is helpful for students plan their spring/summer coursework.

Finances: Out-of-state students pay tuition by the credit hour. Financial Aid is available through Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Achieve scholarships, Summer PellÌýand University
scholarships for students who qualify.

There are several ways faculty, advisorsÌýand staff can learn more about and engage in summer:

  1. Send your questions to summerinfo@colorado.edu.
  2. Visit to see all the Summer offerings for 2018.
  3. Let us know if there are courses that did not make it into the schedule that should be offered because ofÌýstudent demand/needs.
  4. Take part in Summer Session walk-in advising on Monday, Feb.Ìý19, 2018, and Monday, Feb.Ìý26, 2018.

Advisors across campus will devote their walk-in hours (1 to 3 p.m.) on these two Mondays to Summer Session advising. These two advising days will
be promoted to all students as an opportunity to talk to their advisors about ways they can use Summer Session to advance their degrees and explore their interests.
