To help you have a safe weekend and ensure our community continues to be one we are all proud of, we encourage you to:
- Use the buddy system, and let your friends know where you are.
- If you choose to host a party, consider the . Be a responsible neighbor. The primary reason police contact a party is to address a noise complaint.
- People who look to take advantage of others, may do so in the context of a party or social environment. If you are concerned about someone's motives or for the safety of someone else, .
- Know what you are eating and drinking.
- If you are of age and intend to drink alcohol, do so responsibly. Know your limits and encourage your friends to party smart. If you think your friend is at risk, or needs help due to alcohol or other drugs, call 9-1-1. Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ has an amnesty policy and encourages students to look out for one another.
- If you are out at night, it may be difficult for drivers to see you. Please be extra cautious when crossing streets, and assume vehicles can't see you.
- If you are looking for a free ride within the city limits, consider calling Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ NightRide. You may request a ride through the TapRide app, or call 303-492-SAFE.
- The Lifeline Response mobile safety app is provided to you free of charge and can get help for you in an emergency.
