The past couple of weeks have been very turbulent for many of us Buffs, with the recent election, finals听and听other uncertainties that college students face. It is important for us as members of the 欧美口爆视频 Boulder community, to remember the 欧美口爆视频 Creed and reflect on how we can live our lives by its values.
Created by students in 2004, the Creed embodies how we should engage with one another as students, faculty members, staff听and as members of a larger Boulder community.
Much like the pioneers who founded Boulder and helped establish what would become an internationally renowned research university, the students in 2004 saw a need, and worked to fulfill it. Since then, many other students have had the responsibility of continuing on the 欧美口爆视频 Creed for future generations of the 欧美口爆视频 and Boulder communities.听
We believe the 欧美口爆视频 Creed is not a rule or a mandate, but a guiding light for how we interact with others. During this tumultuous time, it is important that we come together, shoulder-to-shoulder, as a community and engage each other respectfully and work to understand other perspectives, ideas听and beliefs. The Creed is not simply words written on a wall or sidewalk, but a fundamental principle in which every student should live by in order to help bring about positive change to our university and our society. At the end of the day, we don鈥檛 have to agree with each other, but the Creed requests us to act with integrity in all of our interactions, particularly those that require us to acknowledge each other鈥檚 differences.
