The National Weather Service expects a weather system to move into the area, bringing much colder temperatures through Thursday as well as accumulating snow Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon.听

According to , snow may become heavy at times Tuesday evening, as the strong cold front drops south across the area. The northern and central mountains could still see amounts approach a foot over a 2-day period ending early Wednesday. Across the plains, amounts will likely be in the 1 to 5 inch range.
Under extreme weather conditions or general emergency, the campus may close early or not open at all. If it is determined that the campus must be closed, such a decision will normally be made by 5:30 a.m. on the day the campus will be closed.
The notification will be made via听.听Other notification methods听include the campus emergency information line (2-INFO), campus social media channels and local broadcast media.
