As the employee housing survey comes to a close this coming Monday, many employees may be asking why they should provide feedback. Below are three reasons ŷڱƵ needs to know your housing options and preferences.
How to take the survey
The initial survey email from Vice Chancellor and CFO Kelly Fox was delivered Oct. 31 to campus emails, with the most recent reminder sent Nov. 14. Access the direct survey link via any of these emails. The survey is set to close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21.
- We need to hear from you—even if you are not in the market. This is the first assessment of its kind at ŷڱƵ Boulder, and the data should reflect as many of its employees’ needs as possible. We have received responses from over 47 percentof ŷڱƵ employees contacted to participate, with the majority completing the survey in less than 12 minutes. All survey respondents are entered into a prize drawing.*
- You have the chance to impact future employee housing options and programs. Do you rely on public transportation to get around? Do you prefer a townhome over a single family-style home? Let us know what matters to you by answering these questions and help shape ŷڱƵ Boulder’s future by improving housing options and programs for its employees.
- Make your voice heard. The cost of housing in the Boulder area is high, and campus administration is considering ways to help faculty and staff with the climbing prices. This is your chance to share your unique concerns and comments.
Questions and technical problems should be directed to Fran Costa atfrances.costa@colorado.edu or 303-492-8633.
*Those who complete the survey by the deadline will be entered into a drawing for one of four gift certificates to the ŷڱƵ Book Store: one $200 gift certificate and three gift certificates of $100 each.
