In July, ŷڱƵ Boulder Today announced the beginning of construction for the Center for Academic Success and Engagement, or CASE building, which will be built atop the Euclid Autopark.

Construction is well underway, and the Euclid Autopark has remained open through this first part of the project. However, the Euclid Autopark is scheduled to close for 14 weeks, from Oct. 10 through Jan. 13. During this time, campus visitors will be directed to park in Lot 204 across the street from Euclid Autopark. Affected permit holders should have received direct correspondence from Parking and Transportation Services regarding relocations.

The garage is scheduled to be reopened by the start of spring classes on Jan. 17, 2017.

Corner of Euclid and 18th Street

In addition, contractors are preparing to begin utility work at the nearby intersection of Euclid Avenue and 18th Street. The traffic gates have been removed and the road width will be reduced to one lane for approximately six weeks. While buses will continue to use the route, all thru traffic will be encouraged to find a different route in order to avoid delays. A flagger will be posted during business hours, and an electronic message board will alert drivers to take caution on the short section of one lane road with two way traffic.

Dismount Zone

Bikers and skateboarders are asked to dismount on the path along the north side of the construction site. This path is for pedestrians only, and all vehicle traffic is prohibited, including carts. Pedestrians, bikers and commuters are encouraged to find alternate routes around the site whenever possible to minimize congestion and maintain the safest environment possible.
