Bowling re-opening party.ÌýThe Connection Bowling Alley at the UMC is reopening this evening with brand new bowling equipment and they’re commemorating the day with a huge party and you’re all invited.ÌýThere will be food and prizes, and the bowling is free so don’t miss out!
Boulder Farmer’s Market.ÌýCatch one of Boulder’s favorite traditions before it closes down for the winter! The Boulder Farmer’s Market happens every Wednesday night from 4 to 8 p.m. on Canyon and Broadway and there are tons of local vendors and restaurants offering up dinner food and locally grown fruit and veggies. You can grab a plate of food and listen to live music in the sitting area or relax on the community lawn next to Boulder Creek.

Karaoke Night.ÌýSwing by Club 156 in the UMC First FloorÌýfrom 8 to 11:30Ìýp.m. for some spectacular amateur singing and socializing. Grab some pals and muster your courage to belt out a pop tune or two on Club 156’s professional sound system for a crowd. The event is free and open to all!
Flick and Float.ÌýBlow up your inner tube and floaties and don your swim suit- it’s time for the Rec Center’s Flick and Float! Sit in the Buff Pool and watch Sharknado (an Oscar-worthy masterpiece if you ask me) from 7 to 10 p.m. Bring a friend or bring a date, it’ll be a wonderfully fun evening in the pool.

Finding Nemo screening.ÌýFriday night is movie night withÌýProgram Council, and this Friday they’re screening everyone’s favorite Pixar movie Finding Nemo for free at 8 p.m. in Chem 140 (the best place to see a movie) to precede next Friday’s screening of Finding Dory. Popcorn is free, and be sure to bring your valid Buff OneCard for entry.
Celebrate Bisexuality Day.ÌýJoin Biphoria and the Cultural Events Board for a celebration of bisexualityÌýin the Abrams Lounge on the 3rd floor of the C4C from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. There will be food and fun and absolutely everyone is welcome so no matter how you identify, swing by and celebrate!

Boulder Fall Fest.ÌýJoin the fun loving Boulder community this weekend for our annual tradition of the Fall Festival, an event that draws thousands and highlights fall food, musicÌýand art. The festival spills all down the Pearl Street Mall and is impossible to miss, as it runs all day for three days. Don’t try to park downtown during this time as you will surely fail; instead I suggest biking or walking down the Broadway hill.

TEDx Boulder 2016.ÌýEveryone loves a good TED talk, and Macky Auditorium hosts two 90-minute sessions of TED talks again this year beginningÌýat 5 p.m. Come to hear a plethora of innovating and inspiring speakers on a variety of topics. Be sure to get your tickets soon since they’re selling out quick! Tickets include a light organic meal at intermission and start at $30.
Full Dome Show: Bella Gaia.ÌýIf you’ve never seen a full dome show at Fiske Planetarium, now is the time. Fiske offers a wide array of laser shows, movies, and star projections on their dome, and Bella Gaia is one of the best. This award winning display of Earth from above features images from NASA and you may find yourself incredibly moved and inspired by the incredible beauty of it. The show runs from 9 to 10 p.m.

Test Prep Workshop.ÌýIf the first midterms of the semester have got you all in an anxious tizzy, then stop by Flemming 170Ìýfrom 2 to 3 p.m. for a test prep and exam study-help workshop to ease your brain. There will be study pros there to help you develop a strategy and get your mind right for midterm week. The workshop is free and open to all.
