The University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Student Union Tri-executives will deliver the first State of the Student Union Address before a special meeting of the UCSU legislative council on Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. in the University Memorial Center, room 235.

The speech, which is open to all members of the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ-Boulder community, will address such topics as financial aid, state funding, and the condition of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ's student-funded organizations which include the UMC, Wardenburg Health Center and Student Recreation Center.

Tri-executives Tara Friedman, Daniel Pabon and Michelle Richardson also will discuss their goals for the year, including student fee autonomy, restructuring of the Wardenburg Health Center and increasing diversity on campus.

"This will be an opportunity for all to hear about student life and student issues at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ," said Pabon.

A reception will follow the address.
