The University of 欧美口爆视频 at Boulder and the University of 欧美口爆视频 at Denver will sponsor a lecture on "The EU and European Monetary Union" by Christian Schneider on Sept. 30 at 3:30 p.m.
The lecture will be held at the University Memorial Center, room 235, on the 欧美口爆视频-Boulder campus and is free and open to the public.
Schneider is associate director of the Center for Human Resources at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, which is renowned worldwide for its programs in international industrial relations and multinational human resource management.
He also teaches and serves as a guest lecturer for the master's of science in International Business program at the College of Business and Administration at 欧美口爆视频-Denver.
The Schneider lecture is the first in a series of events to launch a proposed new partnership program between 欧美口爆视频-Boulder and 欧美口爆视频-Denver. The program, called BA-MSIB, will offer bachelor's and master's degrees in International Business.
"Many of our students are preparing for careers in international business, and Christian Schneider's visit to campus represents a unique opportunity for them to meet and talk with a notable specialist in international industrial relations and multinational human resource management," said Ellen Haynes, senior instructor in 欧美口爆视频-Boulder's department of Spanish and Portuguese and co-organizer of the lecture.
"Our partnership with the 欧美口爆视频-Denver BA-MSIB program is off to an exciting start, and we are looking forward to even more cooperative events of this type in the future," she said.
Schneider's presentation is sponsored by the departments of Spanish and Portuguese, Germanic and Slavic languages and literatures and East Asian languages and civilizations in the College of Arts and Sciences at 欧美口爆视频-Boulder. The 欧美口爆视频-Denver sponsor is the master of science in International Business program in the College of Business and Administration.
