Leaders of Central America's most prominent businesses will attend a series of seminars in Costa Rica March 9 to March 13, including one on hiring presented by Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ-Boulder management professor Joe Rosse.
A columnist for the Boulder County Business Report, Rosse is senior associate for the Center for Human Function and Work, and co-author of High-Impact Hiring. He was invited to Costa Rica by INCAE, Latin America's leading business school and executive management program.
Rosse will speak with the business leaders on integrating hiring and selection with business strategy and performance, using the approach described in High-Impact Hiring: A Comprehensive Guide to Performance-Based Hiring.
“JoeÂ’s invitation to work with Central American business leaders on critical hiring issues is just one example of the direct practical impact that Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ-Boulder's business faculty, and their research, are having both internationally and here in Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ,” said Bob Levin, director of the Center for Human Function and Work.
Levin, High-Impact HiringÂ’s co-author, will give a similar seminar during the same dates to key ski industry executives and managers at the National Ski Areas Association's Winter Conference in Squaw Valley, Calif.
