Representatives of state high-technology businesses are invited to meet with faculty of the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ at Boulder to discuss research areas that may be of mutual interest.

A series of informal "4+4 breakfasts," pairing a few company representatives and a few faculty researchers whose technical backgrounds or research programs may overlap with a company's research or manufacturing needs, is being sponsored by the Office of Technology Transfer and Industry Outreach.

If there is a match, possible outcomes include a sponsored research contract focused on a company's specific research problems, a student internship or a faculty consulting arrangement.

The long-range goal of the program is to introduce Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ companies to the benefits of establishing and maintaining research relationships with the Boulder campus, said Steve ONeil, director of the Office of Technology Transfer and Industry Outreach.
