Join the Basic Needs Center and Volunteer Resource Center to raise awareness and learn more about the issues of food and housing insecurity during , Nov. 10-15. 

is an annual program where people come together across the country to draw attention to the problems of hunger and homelessness. Many Americans live on the edge, forced to choose between basic necessities like purchasing food, paying rent or going to the doctor.

Between Nov. 10-15, we are hosting a variety of programs to increase awareness of food and housing insecurity within the campus and community. Volunteer Opportunities

Pack cold weather kits to distribute to unhoused individuals in the Boulder community.

  Nov. 13 | 12-4 p.m. 

  Nov. 15 | 4-8 p.m. 

Make blankets to donate to A Precious Child for at-risk youth and families.

  1-5 p.m. 

Help distribute free groceries to the 欧美口爆视频 Boulder community.

  10 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

Prepare and distribute lunches to unhoused individuals in the Boulder community. 

On-campus Resources

We can connect you to campus food resources including the Buff Pantry, 欧美口爆视频 Boulder鈥檚 on-campus food pantry, mobile food pantries and off-campus resources like local food banks and federal benefit programs

If you are in need of emergency housing, we can provide education on available housing resources and referrals to on- and off-campus services. 

Need financial assistance? The Student Emergency Fund (SEF) is a stipend that can assist you during unanticipated events that might cause you to pause or stop your educational goals

Rec Center and Basic Needs Center Food Drive

  Nov. 11-14 | 11 a.m.- to 3 p.m.

  Drop-off location: Rec Center Lobby

Bring non-perishable food and personal items to the Rec Center and participate in our food drive. Items must be unopened, have original labels and not be damaged or dented.
